Foothill Acres Rehabilitation & Nursing Center
It's alright, but it's old, and the building is outdated. Some of the staff members were nice. I wouldn't recommend there, but he came from the hospital, and it had an opening at that time. Everyone in the office was helpful, but the facilities are old.
I believe there were at least 30 perhaps 50 patients on the floor and at most 4 visible staff members. My Mother-in-Law is quite ill and she told me the called for help one night no one ever came. There were small thefts in the week that she was there, and finally they did not seem to notice that she was getting sicker not better during her week of rehab. They informed us that she was not improving and she would have to leave on Friday.
Weekend Only- Home Health Aides Needed
We like knowing that the staff is caring and very friendly. The menu is outstanding and healthy. It is nice to know that he is involved with the activities. We would recommend this community for the good care and value for other families. Offering skilled nursing, medical and rehabilitative care for patients and residents.
The only negative for me is the smell. I honestly don’t visit as much as I should because of this. I don’t know how the employees can stand it. This past week it seemed like they put pumpkin spice air fresheners in the rooms because some of the odor was gone and it smelled like fall. I think if they can get that smell out of the building, they would have more visitors. Feasterville-Trevose offers several health care providers for seniors wanting to be proactive about their health or for seniors seeking treatment for chronic conditions.

Nothing is forced upon you, but there are things to do and ways to be involved if you choose to. The community made this an easy process and explanation due to the fact the person who I spoke to has had their parent here. This is a community I would recommend to others for their loved ones.
